SCAR Patch Notes - 4/7/2025

**MAJOR** - We have officially changed the Skill "Send" to "Emit" for using ranged natural attacks!

Page 11 - We've updated the Difficulty Change Maximums to clarify what happens if you have a +3 Difficulty or such.

**MAJOR** Page 23 - We have Size Category rules now!

**MAJOR** - Page 35 - We have added Signature Abilities now. This is a Move, Weapon, etc that you may designate as your character's Signature Ability and receive free XP towards it.

Page 37 - We have multiple new Feats available for your consideration, just look for the green highlight!

Page 56 - We have proper rules for repairing equipment now!

**MAJOR** Page 56 - We have heavily overhauled how Armor and Weapons work as well as added Shields! These stats are linked on a separate document for now (from the main one) as it will be a very long process to move them over, but we'll get there soon :tm:

Page 71 - Added a Rules Box to explain Short/Breather Rests and Ability Refreshing

Page 75 - Added a Rules Box to reiterate that you may attack with both a Standard AND a Quick Action without penalty each turn.

Page 86 - Clarified rules for Lethal and Non-Lethal and how it impacts Deaths & Downs

Page 99 - Added a new Move Trait: Blink! This is for those melee fighters who want to teleport around the battlefield.

Page 103 - Added new Conditions and combined the Condition Move Traits into sections.

Page 104 - Added the Warm Up/Cool Down Move Traits for saving you some XP!

Page 109 - Added a Rules Box regarding Companions and Assisting

**MAJOR** Page 111 - The Natural Defense Primeval Feature has received a massive overhaul. It is now more in line with Armor stats and significantly better. Check it out for all the new updates there!!! (Do note, some XP costs changed and several upgrades are very different now)

Page 127 - We have added 3 new Positive Conditions and written out the descriptions for the existing three finally!

**MAJOR** Page 146 - We have sat down and figured out what seems to be the ideal amount of XP per Attribute. This is around 100 XP per Attribute after the initial 8. This can fluctuate between 15 and 25 XP in either direction.
