So sorry for the delay, been a very busy couple months!

SCAR Patch Notes - 8/14/2025 

MAJOR The SCAR Character Sheet 1.5.0 is officially released and available at the top of the document!

Page 32 - Once the whole group has gone through a growth stage, everyone receives a bonus allotment of XP on top of the Attribute bonuses!

Page 37 - Gave some clarification on how Auras work.

MAJOR Pages 42-49 - Most of the Affinity Feats (and Master of None) got a rework. For most of those, it was a buff for them to scale and be useful later in the game! This was a massive overhaul there, check out each Feat for details!

Page 42 - Added a note that the Affinity Feats are intended as examples! They can be reflavored to swap them to other types with Storyteller approval!

Page 49 - New Feat: Efficient Parrying - Allows extra uses of Parry with more Reactions! Also: Riposte - Allows you the chance to do damage when you Parry really well!

Page 50 - New Feat: Parting Parry - You can Parry an AoE for allies behind you

Page 82 - You can use your Medicine Skill to Cleanse a condition on someone else now!

MAJOR Page 83 - Added the Disengage Maneuver, allowing you to move through threatened spaces without provoking AoO.

Page 85 - You may now attempt to Parry the Power of an AoE!

Page 103 - Damage Over Time, Building Power, and Draining Over Time have all had their costs reduced.

Page 107 - Pointed out that Lifesteal and Draining Over Time DO stack.

Page 109 - Removed an old part of the rules that's no longer applicable: Conditions are not guaranteed regardless if they are beneficial or not.

Page 118 - Put in a clarification of the difference between Primeval Forms and Shapeshifting

Page 121-122 - Added a cost and details for Shapeshifting's Grow or Diminish upgrade

Page 126 - Primeval Teleportation's Additional Target upgrades have range to them now, depending on what range upgrades you have purchased. There are also some more rules clarifications there.

Page 127 - Clarified some rules for the Sphere AoE of Teleportation, including making it noted that it is centered on you, the user.

Page 136 - Expanded the rules for the Confusion Condition as well as Disabled and Distracted Drawn!
